How long have you been employed with Able Steel?
Ted - 4 1/2 years
Jason - 3 1/2 years

What did you do before coming to Able Steel?
Ted - I worked as a millright.
Jason - I worked in concrete construction.

What is your role at Able Steel?
Ted - Plant manager, I verify that fabrication is performed correctly and oversee shop operations along with managing 55 employees.
Jason - Shipping manager, I ensure that all steel is delivered ontime and safely as well as being completed correctly and manage the painting operations I am also in charge of all rolling stock.

What are the challenges you face or have in your role?
Ted - Meeting deadlines on jobs and doing it within the hours we are given and dealing with 55 different personalities.
Jason - Keeping paint within specifications and trying to keep the project managers happy and keeping materials organized.

If you could change one thing within you area what would it be?
Ted - Better control of material handling.
Jason - More room/more acreage. 

What do you see for the future of Able?
Ted & Jason - More growth & expansion within Able Steel to make us bigger and better than any other steel fabricator in our market.

How do you both work together to make Able successful?
Ted & Jason - One thing that really helps us to work together is that we communicate and see eye to eye when issues arise making sure items get out
the door in a timely fashion to meet schedules and taking care of project managers needs.

What are your long term goals?
Ted - To retire from Able Steel and travel the country with my wife.
Jason - To be married for many more years to my wife and grow to see my kids be successful and better than I.

What do you enjoy doing with your time off, do you have any hobbies?
Ted - I enjoy four wheeling and spending a lot of time with my wife and kids.
Jason - Spending time with my kids, taking them to there sporting events and watching them succeed in there sports.

What are your plans for the holidays?
Ted - Eating well and going camping and four wheeling with my family.
Jason - Staying home and relaxing and just spending time with my family.
