Relationships connecting education and industry through SDS/2 Design Data.

Able Steel has and continues to be a firm supporter of education.  Able is involved in supporting various educational institutes and their Programs throughout the year.

Able Steel contacted Dysart
Unified School District instructor Scott Thomas at the end of 2007 to inquire about students trained in SDS/2. Mr. Thomas recommended Brandon Anderson, who had three years experience in the rigorous Dysart SDS/2 Structural Steel Detailing and modeling curriculum program. Brandon's foundation and understanding of structural steel have made him a valued Able Steel Employee.

The relationship between Able Steel and Dysart Unified School continues “Industry Connections Lead to Student Success”.

Dysart’s Signature Architecture Program is included in the American Design Drafting Program.  The Signature Architecture Program at Dysart utilizes SDS/2 to instruct Students in higher level Mathematics Skills & Engineering Concepts related to Structural Steel Detailing and Modeling, Visualization Skills, Oral Presentation Skills and Written Communication Skills.

The upcoming generation is facing difficult times in our current economic situation; education needs all the support that we can give. Able Steel urges all to be involved in providing educational support.
