Businesses continue to develop in Arizona

Able Steel is currently finishing up erection of the Mesa Municipal Courts Building. This three story 95,300 square foot building, designed by RNL Design and Caruso Turley Scott, required a total of 683 tons of Structural & Misc Steel. This all was furnished under a contract with Sundt Construction, Inc. The project includes an attractive round foyer entrance and numerous courtrooms and offices for the City of Mesa judiciary.

 

Able Steel is also putting the finishing touches on another Sundt job, the Dial/Henkel Corporation Headquarters Building located off the 101 in Scottsdale. This facility has 679 tons of structural and misc steel including a complex sloping roof for the cafeteria.

 

 

A Phoenix downtown project that is currently getting underway is the Cityscape Project for Hunt Construction Group. This impressive project is being developed by Red Development LLC. This project will have a city block sized 5 story underground parking garage, a 27 story concrete office tower and a 36 story residential tower. Located right in the heart of Phoenix at Central and Washington Streets completion is expected in 2010.

 

Able Steel is proud to be associated with the awards from Southwest Contractor for Best of 2008. For Best Office Building: The Riverpoint Center for Apollo Group consisting of approximately 850 tons of structural and miscellaneous steel. In conjunction with the Architect/Engineering firms of Smithgroup and Caruso Turley Scott contracted with Sundt Construction.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For Best Private Green Building: The Papago Gateway Center consisting of approximately 365 tons of structural and miscellaneous steel. In conjunction with the Architect/Engineering firms of Smithgroup and Caruso Turley Scott contracted with Okland Construction.
