Buildings Popping Up All Over the Valley
Able Steel has recently had the privilege of making two significant contributions to the heath care industry in the West Valley. The first project a 1,508 ton 5 Story expansion for Del Webb Hospital was topped out for DPR Construction, Inc. on November 9th of 2007. This project, located in Sun City West, Arizona was erected in 12 weeks.
The second of the two heath care projects is The Western Regional Medical Center for Cancer Treatment Centers of America. This is a 1,200 ton facility and was topped out for Okland Construction Company, Inc. This facility, located on the far West side on I-10 in Goodyear, Arizona included; not only a medical facility but an adjoining hotel.
Other current projects include a couple of large office buildings. The Dial Henkel Corporation Headquarters Building located off of the 101 in Scottsdale is currently being erected for Sundt Construction. This facility has 679 tons of structural & miscellaneous steel including a complex sloping roof for the cafeteria.
The Papago research Center in Tempe for Okland Construction Company, Inc. is nearing completion. As well as the W Hotel in Scottsdale; this is now in its final stages. The “W” is being provided to Hunt Construction Group.
